CIBER Brings Suite of Applications “In-House”

CIBER has a 7-year history with a major wireless telecommunications provider in America with approximately 30 million customers and annual revenue of more than $19 billion. As a trusted partner providing solution-based, global delivery (on/offshore) and individual contributors, we have provided application and technology expertise on key, mission- critical applications; we have managed complex, geographically dispersed engagements; and we have provided comprehensive communication plans to ensure close coordination between CIBER teams and the Client. The result was incorporating an on/offshore strategy that supported a 70/30 global delivery model, and offering the benefit of cost efficiencies and extended follow-the-sun-delivery in support of their major development efforts.

CIBER was instrumental in assisting Client with bringing a suite of applications “in-house”, and supporting continued live production through-out the transition from the original vendor. We fully participate in all development activities, frequent code drops, code deploys, and maintenance. CIBER is also providing a team of developers for break/fix and application maintenance support for two of their major external, transaction-based Web sites. CIBER’s delivery team consists of onshore and offshore developers skilled in ASP.NET, C#, HTML, XML, and DHTML. The team has gained critical knowledge and experience with the code base, supporting a transition from classic ASP to ASP.NET. In addition, CIBER is providing an application development and maintenance team of onshore/offshore resources in support of all applications that support activation, point of sale, customer account management, and service guides. Lastly, we are working on development and integration of a new retail platform.
