CIBER was instrumental in assisting client for OMA based application Framework Development that involved design, development, enhancement and testing of various OMA client side applications/ frameworks and features.  We have represented our customer in Interoperability tests (IOT) and test fests with major wireless and solutions vendors. Our involvement in the customer’s product development plans encompasses applications like Voice Call continuity engine, Voice over IP (VoIP) engine, PoC engine, Video Share engine and associated IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) application development across technologies.

Technology

CIBER supports this customer by providing expertise across domains and technologies. CIBER’s team has worked on various standards defined by Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) and 3GPP; and technologies like Windows Mobile, Symbian, Java etc.

Challenge

Customer faced a challenge of doing the applications in-house or engaging with a third party. Team ramp-up, retention and management were an additional challenge faced by the customer. CIBER was able to address these challenges because of its existing processes and ability to address most of the customer requirements. CIBER’s existing work related to handheld devices was an additional parameter which attracted the customer to kick start the relationship.
